I had my first session yesterday with HRF member Dusty Weideman! She is one of the most positive and authentic women, and an incredible massage therapist. If you haven’t checked her out yet, you should really take the time to do so!
Her massages are different from what I’ve experienced in the past. She really takes the time to get to know you and understand where your pain and discomforts are stemming from prior going to work. During our chat before we started our session, she explained “I work intuitively and spend more time on parts of the body that I feel need extra care and attention.”
Dusty’s main focus is for her clients to take the hour to lean into self care and relax their mind and body. All of us are constantly busy and running around taking care of others, and Dusty is there to reminds us that this our time to connect with our breath and let go.
To say I was relaxed after my session with her is an understatement— I almost walked out of her office with my sweater on backwards! If that doesn’t signal a great massage, I don’t know what would.
Not only is Dusty an incredible business owner coming up on her 5 year anniversary, and a beast in the gym (deadlifting 250+ lbs!) but she is also very active in her community! She has a laundry list of charities and businesses she partners with to offer her services and gives back to Hoboken and Jersey City.
