HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN OUR COMMUNITY!

Happy Friday!

I hope you all had a great 4th of July holiday.

If you missed it on social media, we just started a “pho with friends” weekly post. This is when we meet with local business owners, clients, and non clients over a bowl of pho (Vietnamese noodle soup). This is actually my favorite meal and I love enjoying it with other people (especially first time pho eaters!).  The vision of Hudson River Fitness is to share the experience of health and happiness with the with others so that they can have a positive impact on the world.

Luckily there are still a lot of people in our community who haven’t had the amazing experience of having great conversation over a bowl of noodle soup (yes, it is way better than ramen). It is my personal mission to have noodles with as many of you as possible.

This past week I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with my good friend Russel Francis, owner of CrossFit Jersey City. We talked about life and the overall goal of helping others. Russel is a great business owner and runs an amazing gym over in our neighboring town of Jersey City.

Something that people often overlook about health and happiness is building meaningful relationships. Humans are social animals and do crave that sense of belonging to a group. When you walk into Hudson River Fitness’ doors, you are welcome to be part of our family and tribe. We are happy that you conquered the hardest obstacle which is just taking that first step through the door. Not only will you be working alongside other like minded people, but you will be part of a group who lifts you up and supports you during tough times. Work stressing you out? No worries, we got your back and that heavy squat plus our cheering will help you overcome any challenge that comes your way. 

Feeling down? Our bright spots friday posts in the members groups are used to help you identify the small wins throughout the week.
