Good morning,
Did you know that there are exponentially more gyms, fitness coaches, wellness coaches, nutrition coaches, and eating plans as compared to 20 years ago? This is great because there is an endless amount of choices available for people. However, the reality is that even though there are way more options, chronic diseases are more prevalent now than 20 years ago.
The problem isn’t access to gyms/programs, there’s pretty much a gym on every single block in Hoboken. The challenge is that there are so many choices out there that it can be overwhelming to decide on the program that works (decision fatigue). But how can you figure out which program is the best?
The program that will work for you is going to be in line with your goals. However, you can’t figure out if it works with your goals unless you ask them (the gym). If you haven’t worked out in a while (or new to fitness), but know that you need it, jumping into a high intensity group fitness class might be the best fit or it might not. It truly depends on what you prefer especially when (re)starting your fitness journey.
So my action step for you today is, if you think you need to make changes to your health, reach out to a gym near you and see if they’d be a good fit for what you need. Ask them, “how can you help me?” If they can answer that with a structured program, then you found the right place.
Here at Hudson River Fitness, before sending you into our regular group classes (4-6 classes/day), we will actually sit down with you and come up with a plan that will have the most impact. Whether it be personal training, nutrition coaching, or group fitness, we are here to help you.
So if you are ready to make a change for you, your health, and your family, book your no sweat intro with us today.
You aren’t alone.
