Biggest obstacle to sciatica relief

We live in an awesome time where you can access information for free at the touch of a button. Google made it so easy for us to gain knowledge and it has changed the world. However, when you are experiencing sciatica pain, this knowledge can be so vast that it can act as an OBSTACLE to your recovery. Hear me out, the last time I checked on google, there are over 21 MILLION articles on sciatica pain exercises. However, that is 21 million articles that both support each other and refute each other. This is entirely confusing, ultimately leading the pain sufferer (you) down a path of frustration and a lack of pain relief.

So how can we overcome this obstacle. By looking within yourself. You see, you are the key to your recovery. Pain is real, but it is also an entirely unique and individual experience. Meaning, that the stretches that work for your friend, won’t necessarily help you. So you need to take a look inside and identify what positions, stretches, or exercises help you with your sciatica pain. That will be the basis of your recovery and that will guide you on finding the right exercises and stretches to help you return to your normal life.

But if you can’t quite figure it out, it is totally ok to reach out for help. You aren’t in this world alone and you have many professionals who are trained and know how to help you. It’s just a matter of asking. Here are three action steps that you can take when asking for help:

  1. Reach out to a local physical therapist or chiropractor for help. The key to your success in this route is to communicate with them your entire story of how you got hurt, the stretches/exercises/positions that make you feel better, and what makes you feel worse. They should be able to provide a plan of action for you with quick relief. You might need to see them around 2-3 times per week for a couple weeks. You should be able to experience a change in pain pretty quickly. If not, communicate that with them, so they can change their game plan for you
  2. Work directly with me. You don’t need to wait in line to get started. In fact, the great thing about meeting with someone virtually is that the schedule is quite flexible and you don’t even need to leave your home. We’ll go over your history and identify the best stretches, exercises, strategies for you. We usually start off with meeting once per week, but then as things get better, we can reduce that frequency. The power of recovery is in your hands, we work together to make sure that you feel better day in and day out. Interested? Book a call here.
  3. Start the sciatica protocol. This is a completely text based program where you will actually get a customized exercise and stretching program focused on your relief. All you need to do is take the free survey to get started, and then you’ll be asked a series of questions. The answers will help you determine which exercises are right for you. But that’s not all! You’ll also receive daily reminders to stretch and move, and the exercises will change based on how you are feeling for the day. This is the fasted way to relief because you can do it on your own time, and it only takes about 10 minutes or less per day. Sign up here.

Whether you choose to go this journey on your own or ask for help, know this- recovery is possible.
