Breathe your pain away

Stress can be a huge contributing factor to back pain.

A couple months ago, I was working with a mother who was going through hectic times with her kids going back to school, and the stress was taking a toll on her and was further exacerbating her back pain.

During this session with her, I went ahead and guided her through a simple 5 minute breathing exercise that really helps reduce stress levels and subsequently reduce their back pain.

This technique developed by the Navy Seals is called “box breathing” and I go over in today’s video.
