Today I just want to give a big shout out to one of my clients who I’ve been working with since February.
She’s worked really hard and executed a lot of what we planned together, but also grew through her own awareness of her relationship with food.
When we first met, her goals were to lose weight and get rid of her lower back pain. She also mentioned that she was experiencing some digestive discomfort after meals and wasn’t sure what it was related to. And together we came up with bi-weekly action plans to figure out sustainable ways that she could feel better. When we met recently, she was so excited to tell me that she’s been consistently losing weight or at least maintaining it. Her back pain is gone, when she does experience digestive upset, she at least knows what causes it. And even her sleep quality has improved. But I think her biggest success is when she told me that she’s not only learned a lot about nutrition, but she’s gained an awareness of when her mental state dictates her nutrition decisions and emotional eating. She even drilled down to when some of these habits developed.
In working with me, she was thankful that I never told her she couldn’t have something and that she didn’t feel deprived. She loved the small hacks I helped her with and most importantly, she likes her mindset now.
I just wanted to say great job to this client and thank you for being a rock star.
