Yesterday I had the opportunity to be interviewed by a gym owner discussing the difference between discomfort and pain. Being able to understand the two is key to help build strength, resiliency, but also as a way to prevent injury. Pain is a survival mechanism that helps us make the decisions/actions that are the safest for us.
