Take a warm shower before bed

Why this matters:

In addition, a warm shower allows your muscles to relax. So if your muscles are extremely tight or wound up and causing you pain, a warm shower will result in them being less tense. If you have less tension you can fall asleep faster. Better sleep = less pain.

Take a warm shower before bed. Shower time should be long enough for you to feel like your body is winding down. Combine that with some gentle nasal breathing (breathing through your nose) for an added benefit.
