- You are the biggest advocate in your care. Your response to each treatment modality, whether it be a stretch, exercise, hands on technique will dictate the next steps. Is it making you better? Do more of it. Is it making you worse? Do less of it.
- You will heal. It takes about 6-12 weeks for damaged tissues to heal. You can accelerate the healing process by minimizing the incidences of which your pain gets irritated. You can also slow down the healing process by pushing through the pain.
- You don’t need 15 stretches to get relief. In fact, something as simple as 3-5 exercises will be sufficient. Anything more than that, there can be too much distraction and noise.
